Absolutely, we love a session in the rain. We do have covered areas in the Circuit, but you will spend a lot of your time in a hot soaking tub, warm shower, and the heated WellPod so the contrast makes the experience even more special.
No. Our sessions are private, self-guided contrast hydrotherapy experiences.
The WellPod design was inspired by the Korean jjimjilbang experience where guests of all ages lay on the heated floor of the sauna. For the most comfortable WellPod experience, you may choose to sit or lay down on your stomach or back. Additionally, you may request extra towels at check-in to be used as bolsters or cushions under the head, neck or knees.
You may choose to bring a bathing suit, robe, or sandals/slippers.
No outside products are permitted inside the Circuits to protect the natural wood surfaces from being damaged.
The following amenities are available upon request:
Each private Circuit is stocked with:
Your session time includes time to get ready afterwards, please plan accordingly. You will hear audio cues to inform you your session is nearing completion 20 minutes and 5 minutes before the session ends.
Your circuit is fully contained so once you are in your session, it is completely private and clothing-optional. Each circuit features an open-air shower, cedar soaking tub, multi-sensory sauna with Himalayan salt walls, cold plunge, and heated riverstone bed. Gentle audio cues will guide you through the experience.
A thermal spa uses contrast therapy. Contrast therapy is the practice of alternating between hot (saunas, steam rooms, hot pools) and cold (cold showers, pools, ice) followed by rest. Contrast therapy has been practiced around the world for generations and is known to support circulation, reduce inflammation, and boost immunity.
Unlike traditional spas, this is a completely private and self-guided experience, allowing you to unplug and deeply relax in a way that doesn’t happen often in modern life. Our experience is rooted in a deep connection to nature – our tubs do not use chlorine and we use salt, wood, essential oils, and open air to give you the chance to reconnect to nature.
The WellPod is a multi-sensory sauna featuring Himalayan salt walls. The immersive experience features carefully choreographed music, lighting, and airflow. While most saunas are heated to +/- 90°C, the WellPod is heated to 50°C, allowing for a gentle and gradual experience. The space is also open concept without any benches, encouraging you to move in whatever way feels best throughout your time.
Yes, you will need to sign the waiver before using the facilities. You can view the waiver here and it will be shared with you to sign in advance of your session.
We welcome guests as young as 16 if accompanied by a legal guardian throughout the session. The legal guardian must sign a liability waiver on behalf of the underage guest. To visit Circle Wellness without a legal guardian guests must be 19+.
Food, outside drinks, and alcohol are not permitted at Circle Wellness. Consuming alcohol during a session may counteract the benefits and may cause unwanted effects such as a drop in blood pressure resulting in lightheadedness and/or fainting. We do recommend bringing a snack or a beverage high in electrolytes to replenish yourself afterwards. Water and caffeine-free herbal tea is provided.
No, our tubs are not chlorinated. We drain and refill them with fresh water for every session, eliminating the need for added chlorine. Note: Trace amounts of chlorine may exist in the tap water provided by municipal sources.
We recommend consulting with your doctor or midwife to ensure that this will be a safe experience for you. Our WellPod is approximately 50°C and our Ofuro Tub is approximately 40°C.
